New season begins...

Admirals bring in some new bodies for the 2009-2010 season hoping to become playoff contenders again. The Admirals made it to the playoffs for the first time in years during the 2007-2008 season but fell apart the following year. After only winning 3 games all season, the fearless leader and captain Apur Patel brought in some new players to fill the roster. He was quoted as saying "Our current players just don't have what it takes to be a winner like I am. I just hope our new teammates do and I hope they know how to score." After that quote he then skipped off to his car singing the theme song "Barney"....
The Admirals do need to improve in the goal scoring department avereging only 2.50 goals a game last year. Forward Gary Bird said the lack of scoring was do to one thing and one thig only, the Admirals once high scoring #7 has become very avarege. It has since been decided by league officials that the Admirals #7 is the "goat" of the 2008-2009 season. Anyone looking for last season stats, good luck. It was aparently a phontom year that may or may not have happened.
