Admirals 1-1 in last two games
Despite excellent goaltending and better offense, Admirals can only muster a split in two game stretch

The Admirals failed to capitalize on their big win against the Sting by losing to the Landsharks on Feb. 9, 2003 by a score of 4-3. In front of a somewhat disappointing crowd of just 6 people, the Admirals scored early and held the lead going into the third period. The Landsharks scored with under a minute to go, and held off a furious flurry in front of the goal as time expired, to win the game. The Admirals got strong play from Kyle Johnson who stopped 23 of 27 shots. Adrian Abramshuk led the way scoring two goals. Steve Fitz added another goal. And Dick Barr had two assists.
The Admirals are off until February 18, 2003 when they play the Lions. On February 14, the Admirals will be hosting their third annual Winter Carnival (now indoors!), at St. Louis Park. Sach Darji will sing favorite Valentine's Day songs from his childhood, and there will be face painting for the kids. Contact the Admirals ticket office for more details.
