Admirals are 5-4 after win over Knights and loss to the Raiders

The Lobinsky curse is no longer a curse.

January 5, 2004

Admirals 7 - Knights 1

After a defensive struggle 2-0 win over the Stars, the Ads put on a clinic and score 7 again against the Knights. Kyle Johnson almost had back to back shutouts but because of a Dick Barr penalty, the Knights scored a power play goal late in the game. Mike Lobinsky came through with a hat trick as well as Adrian Abramshuk.

Admirals 5 - Raiders 9

What seemed to be a fairly even matchup again like the previous game against the Raiders, the Raiders score 4 in the 3rd period to put away the Ads 9-5. Apur Patel made some nifty sharp passes (yes, you read that right. THE Apur Patel did this) for 3 assists on the night. Adrian Abramshuk scored yet another hat trick (will let the statistician count this stat for the season) but it wasnt enough to contain the high powered Raiders.

With Lobinsky in the lineup and the Admirals losing, the Admirals can no longer put the blame on him for the previous 3 losses but after a 14-1 vote in the locker room after the game, the team decided to still blame Lobinsky for the loss. The only person who voted against this was Apur Patel who said, "We always blame Fitz, no matter where he is!"
