Admirals win 2 in a row with 3-1 win over Sting

Patel takes credit for the win even though he wasnt there

December 20, 2004

After starting out 0-3, the Admirals come back to win their 2nd game in a row with a 3-1 win over the Sting. The Ads come out strong in the first with a goal from Dan Barber to take a 1-0 lead after 1 period. The second period is usually the Admirals worst period statistically, but 2 goals by Adrian Abramshuk and solid defensive play, lead by Nick Kettner and the rest of the team erased that statistic for this game and went into the 3rd period with a 3-0 lead. It was looking like Rob Jones was gonna get his first shutout of the season. Late in the 3rd period, the Sting got on the board from a fluke goal that Jones misplayed when it was flung towards the net from the corner. The hockey gods just didnt want Rob to get his first shutout of the season.

The Admirals look to get back to .500 with a game on 26th against the Blizzard at 2:30pm at the Coliseum. There are plenty of tickets left to this game.
