The Admirals, fresh off their alter-ego's AHA Tier 3 Summer League championship, start the 2005-2006 campaign on Tuesday November 1 against a re-tooled Mighty Northern team. The Northern are looking for revenge after the Admirals eliminated them from play-off contention in the last game of the 2004-2005 season.

This year's Admirals features the return of some old faces, a new face and a borrowed face. Kevin Joseph and Mike Lobinsky return after one-year absences, Will Pecchia makes the jump from D2, and Travis Hermanson will don the purple and burgundy on spot duty loan from the auld enemy, the Battlecats.

The Admirals hope to better their measly point total from last year, and promise their legions of fans a new high-scoring approach with the same traditional lack of defensive commitment that has charaterised Admirals hockey over the years.

Head of Season-Ticket Sales Sach Darji says "while season package sales have been brisk, limited game packages are still available". He adds that the Admirals expect a large walk-up crowd at Wakota Tuesday night. The Admirals also announced the return of their season long promotion -- Lamest Mike Lobinsky Excuse for Missing a Game contest. We know they'll be plenty so get your entries in soon.
